There are a lot of ways for adults to engage spiritually at ClearView. In addition to joining us for Sunday mornings, we invite you to consider being a part of one or more of these great groups.
In each case, our programming and small groups are geared around the pursuit of our vision to be a church that is "equipping everyone to take their next steps in following Jesus Christ."

Life Groups are small gathering of like-minded individuals who are seeking to enjoy life together and to challenge one another to grow in their relationship with God. ClearView has a number of different Life Groups which meet together once a week, once a month, or as frequently as the group members decide to. Life Groups are a wonderful way to become more connected to the ClearView community and to God.

ClearView hosts a fantastic club every Monday night from 7-8:30 called the friendship club. Its mission is to share God’s love with people who have intellectual disabilities and to enable them to become an active part in God’s family.
Participants grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and they have an opportunity to share their gifts as members of a church family. Friends participate in many fun activities such as singing, games, crafts, and bible stories. They are paired up on a one to one basis with an adult mentor who is just as excited to be there as the Friends are.
Friendship club is also just as rewarding for those mentors who choose to join in to make a difference in someone’s life. No special degree is required, just a lot of love and willingness to learn and grow alongside your friend.
If you are looking for a special place for someone you know to belong, or are looking to help out as a mentor, please contact Ellie Nyholt at
Seniors' Circle is meets biweekly for coffee and conversation. Together they are a group which continues to learn about being followers of Jesus, praying for each other and the needs of our church.
If you are a senior and would like to be part of an ongoing community of caring seniors, give us a call at the church, or contact Gerry VanderLaan at
Our Father's Art is a group of women who quilt for charitable causes on a voluntary basis. Our group began in March of 2009 when one member of Clearview Church -- a Master Quilter -- pledged to use her stash of fabric to make quilts for AIDS orphans in Kasarani, Kenya. In December of that same year five quilters flew to Kenya to distribute 75 quilts to two orphanages and several families. After their return to Canada, they decided to continue making quilts.
They have since grown as a group and have been able to donate countless beautiful quilts to an orphanage in Zambia and a Mission Group to the Dominican. Most recently, 25 quilts were sent to Attawapiskatat, a Native Canadian village in Northern Ontario. The members of Our Father’s Art are a fun and welcoming group, and they love having new people join them. They meet every Monday morning at ClearView Church.
