Chris Allen

Lead Pastor

On July 9, 2017 we were happy to welcome Pastor Chris, his wife Anna, and their boys, Keane, Finley, and Aston to our church family. They came to us from Mill Creek, WA where Chris served as the Lead Pastor at Mill Creek Community Church.

Pastor Chris received his Masters of Divinity from Calvin Theological Seminary. He also received a Bachelors of Arts in General Ministry from Lincoln Christian University.

Chris reads a lot of NT Wright. His favorite theological phrase is "inaugurated eschatology" (look it up). He loves preaching, discipleship, listening to progressive blue grass, and watching soccer.

Feel to call 905-829-2242 or email him at   with any questions or prayer concerns.

David Locke

Worship Pastor

David’s life gifting is music. He loves to pour out his heart to God through this medium, and finds that as he does, there's no better place for him to hear God speaking. Stemming from this love and his desire for others to meet with Jesus, David loves to use music to encourage people to take a break from their busyness, slow down, and intentionally spend some time in conversation with God. David does this by coordinating ClearView’s worship services, as well as leading choir and various worship teams and youth bands.

David’s greatest passion, however, is his family. He has a wife, Joy, and three children, Samuel, Daniel and Anna. Not only is his family a source of great joy for him, but also a challenging place of learning how to live as a follower of Jesus Christ.

If you are interested in getting involved in worship at ClearView, or simply would like to have a chat, please contact David at (905) 829-2242 ext. 224 or

Peter Roebbelen

Pastor of Discipleship

A long, long time ago, Peter was a Research Scientist with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. Being a pastor was not part of his life plan. With great patience and persistence, God changed Peter’s heart and also his vocational calling. Peter has grown to love the local church, especially when it is fully co-operating with God in the coming of His kingdom here on earth.

Peter’s passion is to see people actively engaged in a journey of becoming more human, i.e., becoming the people God intended us to be all along. After 25 years of fruitful pastoral ministry at Chartwell and The Sanctuary, two Oakville based churches, Peter now serves ClearView in the area of Discipleship.

Peter is very happily married to Sharon and together they have two adult daughters, Erica and Julia. Peter enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. Particular interests include golfing, running, reading, international travel, working around the house and taking warm weather vacations…none of which occur frequently enough for his liking.

If you are interested in learning more about Discipleship at ClearView or just want to chat with Peter, you can contact him at (905) 829-2242 ext. 226 or at

Lea Wilkening

Community Engagement Ministries

Lea joined ClearView's staff in August of 2015 after 16 years in Finance. Having been led to Christ with the help of a faithful community church in her youth and reflecting on the impact that church had on her life and other lives in her community, she felt the Lord's calling to love others the way she has been loved and to share the vision of a beautiful life with Christ.

She enjoys seeing how the various work environments and experiences God has blessed her with has equipped her to find comfort in this new role and she feels it is an opportunity of a lifetime to match a career with a calling.

Lea shares life's crazy adventures with her loving husband, John, and their two funny boys, Jack and Josh. When she's not trying to make one of her family members laugh, she's trying to make someone else laugh. Sometimes she's successful.

If you are interested in learning more about Community Engagement at ClearView or just want to chat with Lea, contact her at (905) 829-2242 ext. 227 or at

Cindy Schreutelkamp

Director of Youth Ministries

Cindy joined the ClearView team in July 2011 and is thrilled to have the privilege of leading youth. She has an incredible heart for teenagers and has been volunteering with youth in many different capacities at ClearView for quite a number of years. She loves going on mission trips, serving others, playing jokes on people and being creative.

Cindy is very focused on introducing young people to the joys of having a relationship with Jesus Christ, and encouraging them to make a difference in the world. Cindy leads a team of volunteers in coordinating our Junior and Senior youth groups, as well as our College and Careers group. Cindy and her family are avid campers at any Provincial Park, where they enjoy biking, kayaking, hiking and swimming. Her favorite thing to do is to listen to loud music, from rock to classical to worship. Cindy has been blessed with 4 wonderful children: Kyle, Rebecca, Zachary and Hannah.

Ellie Nyholt

Ellie Nyholt

Facilities and Finance Administrator

Ellie transitioned from her role as volunteer to join the ClearView staff in an official capacity in 2013 with a focus on managing facilities usage, including rentals to outside organizations and bookkeeping. She is unwavering in her belief that God is honored when we use the gifts that he has so richly blessed each one of us with for His glory. Ellie finds it a thrill to get feedback from renters who have had a positive experience for their big event, who love what our building has to offer, and who ask if they may return next year. She also finds it very satisfying to reconcile a bank statement on the first run through!

Ellie has four amazing men in her life; her husband John, and three adult sons. Ellie and John love to travel, camp, bike and ski, and hope to do more of all of that, and then some, once John takes his retirement.

Please contact Ellie at 905.829.2242 x233 or for any rental inquiries.
