Family Announcements Upcoming
Worship Services Pastor Henry Wildeboer will be preaching on June 29th.
Please prepare by reading John 17 (3 - 4 times) and especially verses 20 -26.
Theme, "Jesus' Prayer for ClearView." Pastor
John Wildeboer will be leading the ClearView Kids Camp service on July 13th, and
Dr. Aubrey Botha (who was with us last week) will preach again on July 20th. Anyone
want to preach on July 6th? Just kidding – David Locke is looking after finding
someone for that day. Prayer Updates
Pray for Bethany Pasma, as well as the Faber and Bosch families as they
continue their preparation for missions abroad. Bethany is leaving this week. Remember
in prayer the families who have recently lost loved ones. Pray that God will continue
to comfort them during these days of grief. Jack
De Goeij was admitted to Trillium Health Centre approximately a week ago with
a kidney infection which developed into a dangerous clinical condition known as
septicaemia (blood infection). After a few days of treatment and observation,
Jack was released from the hospital last Wednesday after his white cell count
and fever returned to normal readings. He remains weak. Nevertheless we are grateful
that Jack was so successfully treated in a matter of a few days and is now well
on his way to recovery. Let us continue
to stand around Alice and Jack with our prayers for God to grant complete healing
for Jack and also for Richard (Alice’s son) who will receive a series of chemotherapy
and possible radiation treatments after the biopsies conducted earlier this week
have been analyzed. Richard was recently diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma
(NHL) which is a very aggressive, yet very treatable cancer. Church

| Offerings As
a church we want to give back to God’s work so we schedule a time for this in
our services. If you are our guest, you are welcome to participate, but do not
feel obligated. Offering
for this Sunday (June 22): Benevolence Jesus commands us to share
what we have been given. Through this fund, your deacons help to share with the
needy from the riches he has blessed us with. Offering
for next Sunday (June 29): The Bible League An evangelical, non-denominational
ministry that accepts the printed word as the most effective mission and acquaints
churches in Canada with the need for the printed Word in Third World countries. Please
note that there has been a change in the collection schedule. Last week
it was announced that we would be collecting for the Aboriginal Ministries. Instead
the collection today is for the Benevolence Fund. Due to some unexpected urgent
needs within our church community we have had some large expenditures in the last
couple of months. For this reason our Benevolence Funds have been drastically
depleted. In order to be ready for any future needs the deacons request that you
give generously today. The collection for Aboriginal Ministries will be held in
July. At the last deacon’s meeting it
was decided that starting in September the morning collection will be for two
designated causes. Since we no longer have evening services, we are having difficulty
meeting all our commitments for collection requests. The “designated cause” collection
envelopes are divided into two – black print for a.m. and red print for evening.
We will now list the two causes in the bulletin designating “red” or “black” envelope.
For example the bulletin will state CRWRC – black envelope and Benevolence – red
envelope. You can give to the cause of your choice or to both by dividing your
donation between the two envelopes. | |
